The nature and specific circumstances of current banking activity present a challenge to financial institutions that aim at maintaining their normal activity and at reaching their goals. In this framework, quality of service becomes a crucial element. Several factors may influence how clients perceive the service received from their banks in terms of quality level. The present study focuses on one of these factors, namely managers' degree of knowledge of their clients' needs. Even though this factor is only one among several others of equal importance, it constitutes the first step toward achieving high quality services for banks' clients. The present investigation is a preliminary study that could be used as the basis for future research in this area. |
