This project aims to settle the bases for the future construction of a Motion Capture System in the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation’s laboratory. A simulator is built using Blender 2.82. With the information retreived from the simulator, a Visual Studio Community solution is implemented. This solution is able to analyze this data and is built using C++ as its programming language. Afterwards an offline analysis on the results of the estimation is carried out in MATLAB. Henceforth the investigation has two main goals. The first of them is to create a simulation environment suitable for testing estimation algorithms in the future. Lastly, the reliability of the pose estimation of a body which geometrical constraints are known will be analyzed through a solution to the Perspective-N-Point problem. |
