In this End-of-Degree Project, it is carried out a research on the use of cooperative learning in the stage of Primary Education, as well as the different types of cooperative teams, the components that must be given in it, the different roles of students and teachers, some of the most representative techniques and the strengths and weaknesses of its implementation in the classroom, in relation to motivation and social skills. To carry out this research, a didactic unit has been designed for the 6th year of Primary Education in the area of mathematics, of six sessions, in which different cooperative learning techniques are used, both simple and complex ones. To assess the influence of social skills and student motivation, it has been proposed to follow a rubric on the part of the teacher and the students, both individually and as a group. The work ends with a conclusion concerning the benefits and limitations of using this methodology
