Estudio bibliométrico de la producción científica en Web of Science: Formación Profesional y blended learning

Abstract

La formación profesional, al igual que los métodos de enseñanza activos, está adquiriendo mayor interés entre la población, dado su potencial para ofrecer otras salidas formativas y profesionales a los estudiantes. El objetivo de la presente investigación es identificar la producción científica en todos los tiempos sobre la formación profesional y el método b-learning en la base de datos Web of Science. A nivel metodológico se ha desarrollado un estudio bibliométrico mediante la combinación de los marcadores “Blended learning”, “Hybrid Learning”, “Vocational training” y “Vocational Education”, encontrando un total de 63 textos científicos. Para el análisis de los resultados se han tenido presente una serie de variables tales como autores, evolución en los últimos años, género del autor de referencia, idioma habitual, países, continentes, palabras claves, tipos de documentos, metodología, área de investigación, base de datos, referencias y citas. Los resultados muestran que el inglés es el principal idioma de los textos científicos, habiendo una mayor producción de los mismos desde el año 2016 en adelante. Se concluye que la temática de investigación va en auge y aumento, habiendo una mayor incidencia en la comunidad científica

Vocational training, like active teaching methods, is booming in recent years, is gaining more interest among the population, given its power to offer other formative and professional outings to students. The objective of this research is to identify the scientific production at all times about the Professional Formation and the b-learning method in the Web of Science database. At the methodological level, a bibliometric study has been developed by combining the markers “Blended learning”, “Hybrid Learning”, “Vocational training” and “Vocational Education”, finding a total of 63 scientific texts. For the analysis of the results, a series of variables such as authors, evolution in recent years, gender of the author of reference, usual language, countries, content, keywords, types of documents, methodology, area research, database, references and citations. The results show that English is the main language of scientific texts, with a greater production of them from 2016 onwards. It is concluded that the subject of research is booming and increasing, having a greater incidence in the scientific community.
