Releyendo el Quijote

Abstract

Este artículo busca mostrar cómo ha arraigado en la tradición literaria internacional la reelaboración hipertextual de Don Quijote de la Mancha, especialmente entre los cultivadores de la minificción. Se plantea que esto se debe a la profundidad simbólica de la novela, que incita a los autores a apropiársela y a expresar, a partir de una profunda comprensión del universo en ella establecido –es decir, de una relectura–, sus preocupaciones, así como las posibilidades que los intersticios de la obra dejan para la acción de los lectores. Esto se da por la fusión de horizontes de sentido: la fusión estética entre las posibilidades semánticas del texto cervantino y las de cada intérprete más cercano a nuestro tiempo.

This article shows how ingrained is in the international literary tradition the hipertextual remake of Don Quijote de la Mancha, especially among the minifiction creators. It is argued that this is due to the symbolic depth of the novel wich encourages the autors to appropiate it and to express, from a deep understanding of universe established in it (that is, a rereading), their concerns and the possibilities that the interstices of the work allow to readers to have their own action. This occurs by the fusion of horizons of meaning: the aesthetic merger between the semantic possibilities of the Cervantine text and and those of every nearest interpreter to our time.
