Los Progresos Recientes En Las Llamadas Ciencias Experimentales Tienen, Enmuchos Casos, Implicaciones Que Trascienden A La Propia Naturaleza Del Sabercientífico. En El Ámbito De Las Ciencias Biológicas Esto Es Particularmenteclaro Con Ciertas Disciplinas Jóvenes Como La Biología Molecular Y La Ingenieríagenética Que Han Experimentado Un Vertiginoso Desarrollo En Los Últimos Años.Estas Tecnologías, De Enorme Potencial Económico Y Terapéutico, Permiten Unamanipulación Activa, Consciente Y Premeditada De Los Mecanismos Básicos Delproceso Vital Que Conlleva Una Virtual Actividad Creadora Del Experimentador.Por Otro Lado, La Moderna Biología Ha Vuelto A Plantear Una Serie De Antiguosmitos E Ideas Religiosas (El Jardín Del Edén, La Eva Bíblica) Aunquedespojándolos De La Aureola De Lo Sobrenatural. En Opinión Del Autor Seríanecesario Un Análisis Profundo De Las Implicaciones Humanísticas Y Filosóficasde Los Vertiginosos Avances Científico-Tecnológicos Que Han Experimentado Lasciencias Biológicas En Las Últimas Décadas -Y Que Son Considerados Por Algunoscomo Una Auténtica Revolución Conceptual- Algo Necesario Por Lo Demás Para Undesarrollo Armónico Del Propio Conocimiento Científico. |
