However, these do not take into account all those who have undergone organ transplantation. The fact of being transplanted involves numerous factors that affect the physiological, psychological and emotional level. The main objective of this study is to determine which factors facilitate the practice of physical activity in transplant recipients and which act as barriers to it. The specific objective focuses on establishing evidence to support the benefits of regular physical activity in transplant recipients. Two online questionnaires were carried out using Google Forms with 51 transplant recipients from different Spanish associations. The questionnaires focused on subjectively determining which factorsare facilitators and barriers to the practice of physical activity in transplant recipients. The results show that physical activity increases self-confidence, feelings of happiness, personal satisfaction, a greater sense of activity and lower levels of stress and depression. Therefore, the regular practice of physical activity as a non-pharmacological treatment provides multiple benefits that improve the quality of life and health, as well as psychological well-being in transplant recipients |
