Approximately 40% of this consumption is due to the use of buildings. However, this energy saving must always be carried out taking care not to damage the thermal comfort of the people residing inside buildings, as it would affect on their productivity. In addition, sometimes this comfort condition can only be achieved through the use of active measures such as air conditioning systems, which involves the development of appropriate control strategies. This bachelor thesis presents the implementation of thermal comfort controller for a real apartment located in Almería. More in detail, a hierarchical control system has been implemented, based on a PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) index optimizer designed in Matlab and simulated together with the apartment model by means of cosimulation techniques. The modeling process of the apartment previously carried out is also detailed, thanks to the OpenStudio and SketchUp tools. Thanks to the developed thesis, a co-simulation interface has been obtained. The developed interface allows to test any control system for a house. Furthermore, as a practical case of use, a PMV index optimizer has been designed and implemented for control comfort, obtaining results within the comfort zone. |
