Abstract: This articlc studies Education student's attitudes towards statistics. Once analysed the technical characteristics about the instrument used, the different dimensions are explored. examining the differences up the altitudes concerning both the gender and the educational background of the subjects. On the second hand, thc weaker aspects about statisticsare identil1ed. as well as the characteristics ofthe subjects thatreachedthe lower marks. Measures to be adopted and educational methods these would improve the students attitudes towards this matter are also proposed.
