Teachers have been using the same reading method for many decades, giving too much importance to read in an autonomous way and putting aside the possibility to make an oral reading with the intention to share knowledge. For that reason, we assume that oral skills are the most forgotten ones. Furthermore, class planning processes to develop oral skills don’t include oral activities, being the student who has to create the reading habit by him or herself. All these causes lead us to think that a different way of teaching to read can be carried out, making students find enjoyment in reading. In this way, we have to go in depth into expressive reading, trying to show that a different way of teaching to read can be implemented with our didactic proposal.
