Abstract | El objetivo de este trabajo es la recreación virtual mediante CATIA V5 r19 del Space
Shuttle, trasbordador espacial de la NASA empleado por los Estados Unidos de América entre 1981
y 2011.
En el comienzo del proyecto ... El objetivo de este trabajo es la recreación virtual mediante CATIA V5 r19 del Space Shuttle, trasbordador espacial de la NASA empleado por los Estados Unidos de América entre 1981 y 2011. En el comienzo del proyecto se realiza una descripción del contexto histórico en el cual se encontraba sumido el país norteamericano durante el funcionamiento de este vehículo. Con esto, se tiene como objetivo definir el conjunto de circunstancias en torno al cual giraba el Space Shuttle durante sus etapas de diseño y operación, las cuales condicionaban su actividad y el funcionamiento del programa espacial americano en general. Una vez introducida su situación, se comentará su historia operacional y una breve descripción de las misiones acometidas por cada una de sus versiones. Tras esto, se pasará al desarrollo del núcleo principal de este trabajo: el modelado en 3D del trasbordador. Para ello se realizará un reporte del diseño secuenciado de cada uno de los elementos que componen el vehículo, tanto exteriores como interiores al mismo. Al terminar con este proceso, se mostrará cómo se ensamblan todas las partes de forma conveniente para acabar definiendo el modelo final en CATIA. Por último, se ha trabajado en mayor profundidad en la recreación del modelo real a través de la dotación de pintura y animaciones mediante 3D Studio Max. |
