Monográfico “Comunicación y cambio climático: nuevas aportaciones”

Abstract

El número 37 de la revista Ámbitos, correspondiente al verano de 2017, es fruto del Simposio “Un periodismo en transición ante el cambio climático” que se desarrolló en Sevilla los días 5, 6 y 7 de abril en el II Congreso Internacional Comunicación y Pensamiento. Internet y Redes sociales: Nuevas libertades, nuevas esclavitudes, organizado por el Laboratorio de Estudios en Comunicación (LADECOM) en coordinación con los grupos Admira y Comunicar. Dicho Simposio se propuso como un foro de debate e investigación en torno a la función social del periodismo ante el considerado por muchos el mayor reto de nuestro siglo, el cambio climático.

The number 37 of the magazine Ambitos, corresponding to the summer of 2017, is the result of the Symposium “A journalism in transition to climate change” held in Seville on 5, 6 and 7 April at the “II International Congress of Communication and Thought. Internet and Social Networks: New freedoms, new slavery”, organized by the Laboratory of Studies in Communication (LADECOM) in coordination with the groups Admira and Comunicar. This Symposium was proposed as a forum for debate and research on the social role of journalism in the face of, considered by many as, the greatest challenge of our century, climate change.
