Expectativas sobre la eficacia del role-playing como estrategia de enseñanza-aprendizaje y su influencia en el rendimiento académico

Abstract

El pasado curso se llevó a cabo con éxito una experiencia relacionada con la representación de situaciones conflictivas en el contexto de la Educación Especial, utilizando para ello la técnica del role-playing como estrategia de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Tomando en cuenta estos antecedentes, para este curso el objetivo marcado fue comprobar si los alumnos que optaran por participar en esta actividad se implicaban de forma más positiva en la asignatura de Psicobiopatología del deficiente e inadaptado y si ello pudiera tener repercusiones favorables sobre su rendimiento académico, siempre y cuando las expectativas formadas desde el principio fueran dirigidas en esta dirección. En total, participaron en la actividad de innovación 34 alumnos de 182 matriculados en la asignatura, lo que supone aproximadamente el 30% de los que asistían a clase habitualmente. Los resultados obtenidos nos indican que la participación en la actividad podría relacionarse positivamente con la obtención de mejores calificaciones en la primera convocatoria, a la que se presentan de forma mayoritaria los alumnos que realizaron la práctica de role-playing. No obstante, para conocer de forma más exhaustiva el papel que desempeña la formación de expectativas positivas, y cómo éstas evolucionan, sobre el rendimiento sería necesario disponer de más tiempo para desarrollar la actividad.

The past course was carried out with success an experience related with the representation of conflicting situations in the context of the Special Education, using for it the technique of the role- playing like teaching-learning strategy. Taking into account these antecedents, for this course the marked objective was to check if the students that opted to participate in this activity were implied in a more positive way in the subject of Psicobiopatología del Deficiente e Inadaptado and if he/she could have it favorable repercussions on its academic yield, provided the expectations formed from the beginning were directed in this address. n total, they participated in the activity of innovation 34 students of 182 registered in the sub - ject, what supposes 30% approximately of those that habituall y attended class.
