Integración de las TIC en la educación superior

Abstract

De un tiempo a esta parte, en la comunidad científica ha venido extendiéndose la idea de que las tecnologías contribuyen notablemente a facilitar el proceso enseñanzaaprendizaje en distintos frentes, como son el contribuir a mejorar el trabajo individual y la autonomía del alumno, el trabajo grupal y colaborativo del mismo, sin olvidar los métodos de evaluación y la interacción bidireccional entre el profesor y la clase. Mediante este artículo hemos tratado de evaluar el estado de integración y aprovechamiento de esas nuevas tecnologías en la dinámica universitaria española. Nos hemos centrado concretamente en el área de las Ciencias Empresariales, donde ponemos la atención sobre la relación entre la innovación tecnológica y la docente. Desarrollamos la idea de que las TIC no implican de por sí una mejora en la calidad de la formación. La revolución no radica en ellas, sino en la forma de utilizarlas para que contribuyan efectivamente a la innovación pedagógica. Sólo bajo ese enfoque se las puede llegar a considerar una verdadera herramienta de apoyo a la docencia, superando su condición de aderezo cosmético a una metodología tradicional.

In the scientific community is extending the idea that the technologies remarkably contribute to facilitate the teaching-learning process in different fronts: they help to improve the colavorative work, but also the individual work and the autonomy of the student, without forgetting the evaluation methods and the bidirectional interaction between the professor and the class. With this article we have tried to evaluate the integration level of those new technologies in the spanish university dynamics. Centring on the relation between the technological innovation and the educational one in the area of Managerial Sciences, we have explained the idea that the ICT does not imply an improvement in the quality of the formation by themselves. The revolution is not in them, but in the form to use them. Only under this approach, we can consider the ICT useful tools to support teaching, overcoming their condition of cosmetic dressing to a traditional methodology.
