Sentencias eclesiásticas. La falta de dispensas por consanguinidad y afinidad en Córdoba del Tucumán y el Río de la Plata. Siglos XVIII-XIX

Abstract

La Iglesia Católica estipuló sanciones a los que intentaron contraer nupcias –o ya las habían efectuado- en Córdoba del Tucumán y en el Río de la Plata durante los siglos XVIII-XIX, cuando omitieron gestionar dispensas al poseer consanguinidad y afinidad con parientes. Fuentes del Derecho Canónico; las del Archivo del Arzobispado de Córdoba y otras de Buenos Aires y Montevideo respaldan la investigación.

The Catholic Church stipulated sanctions those who tried to contract nuptials -or already they had effected them- in Córdoba of the Tucumán and in the River Plate during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, when they omitted to manage dispensations for having cases of consanguinity and affinity with parents. Sources of the Canon Law; the Archbishop of Córdoba and others of Buenos Aires and Montevideo support the investigation.
