Muchas instituciones sanitarias han estado investigando herramientas para reducir costes y garantizar un uso eficaz de las instalaciones hospitalarias. Los quirófanos se encuentran entre las instalaciones hospitalarias más caras y representan un cuello de botella en la mayoría de los hospitales. Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado presenta un estudio sobre la optimización del diseño de la distribución de quirófanos en un hospital. Para ello, se toma la política actual seguida en por un hospital a nivel autonómico, particularmente en la Especialidad de Cirugía Plástica y Grandes Quemados, se analiza y adapta a un modelo de planificación que se diferencia en el horizonte temporal tomado. El objetivo de esta investigación es encontrar una planificación a medio plazo que permita analizar la eficiencia de las posibles distribuciones de varios quirófanos en distintas unidades quirúrgicas. Esta eficiencia se medirá con la suma de los pesos clínicos de las operaciones realizadas en una semana. Para ello, se evalúa el comportamiento de las distribuciones traduciendo los modelos de optimización a un código de programación usando el lenguaje Python, y se evalúan para un conjunto de instancias generadas aleatoriamente que simulan diversos escenarios. Concretamente, se optimizará la distribución de quirófanos para dos casos que representan hospitales de distintos tamaños. Establecer una planificación apropiada, a partir de una distribución eficiente, ayudará a la toma de decisiones que mejora la gestión de los recursos sanitarios y la calidad de la asistencia sanitaria ofrecida. |
