Abstract | A partir del reconocimiento de que los medios de comunicación contribuyen a reforzar el concepto de heroísmo acerca de historias en el deporte, este estudio tuvo como objetivo principal analizar ... A partir del reconocimiento de que los medios de comunicación contribuyen a reforzar el concepto de heroísmo acerca de historias en el deporte, este estudio tuvo como objetivo principal analizar el tratamiento mediático realizado sobre Rafaela Silva y Carolina Marín tras ganar el oro olímpico en los Juegos Rio 2016. También buscó detectar como fueron tratadas cuestiones de género en los discursos analizados. Para la elaboración de este estudio se utilizó una metodología cualitativa sustentada en el análisis de contenido y la muestra de datos procede de una selección de noticias de los periódicos Folha de S.Paulo y El País, así como de piezas televisivas de Globoy TVE. De modo general, los resultados evidenciaron como los medios clasifican a las dos deportistas como heroínas, resaltando sus conquistas inéditas y revistiendo de sensacionalismo el contenido tratado. A partir do reconhecimento de que os meios de comunicação contribuem para reforçar o conceito de heroísmo acerca das histórias no esporte, este estudo teve como objetivo principal analisar o tratamento midiático realizado sobre Rafaela Silva e Carolina Marín depois de ganhar o ouro olímpico nos Jogos Rio 2016. Também, buscoudetectar como foram tratadas questões de gênero nos discursos analisados. Para a elaboração desse estudo, utilizou-se metodologia qualitativa sustentada na análise de conteúdo e a amostra de dados procede de uma seleção de notícias dos jornais Folha deSão Paulo e El País, bem como de matérias da Globo e TVE. De modo geral, os resultados evidenciam que os meios classificam as duas atletas como heroínas, ressaltando suas conquistas inéditas e revestindo de sensacionalismo o conteúdo veiculado. The focus is on detecting how gender issues were treated in the discourses analyzed.A qualitative methodology was used to conduct the study and the data sample includes a selection of articles from the newspapers Folha de S.Paulo and El País and broadcasts by TV Globo and TVE. In general, the media situated the two athletes as heroines, emphasizing their unprecedented success and embellishing the content with certain doses of sensationalism. |
