The objective of this work is to analyze the efficiency of the public resources that regional governments invest in health systems. To this end, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is applied which enable researchers and managers to obtain measurements of efficiency of the analyzed re gions, and proposing corrective steps to achieve ef ficiency for non-efficient regions. Results show that not every health systems present technical efficiency, nor scale efficiency |
