Abstract | Este artículo reflexiona sobre el compromiso social de los profesionales de la Antropología. Primero,
se hace un repaso por los modos en que la Antropología ha contribuido tradicionalmente a los movimientos
emancipatorios. ... Este artículo reflexiona sobre el compromiso social de los profesionales de la Antropología. Primero, se hace un repaso por los modos en que la Antropología ha contribuido tradicionalmente a los movimientos emancipatorios. Posteriormente, se estudia críticamente el modo en que las ideas libertarias han influido en dos corrientes teóricas que han adquirido gran notoriedad: el posmodernismo y el enfoque decolonial. Finalmente, se sugiere que en el actual contexto de neoliberalización de la universidad y precarización, están proliferando nuevas metodologías etnográficas reflexivas que apuntan a nuevos vínculos entre las personas que practican la Antropología y los movimientos sociales. |
