Abstract

This paper shows how the dominant structural parameters in small and medium size firms in convergence with their entrepreneurial features endow these organizations with certain advantages when facing up a process of technological innovation Notwithstanding, these factors may limit small and medium size enterprises when they have to face new environments dominated by the new information technologies applied to production. Therefore, we proposed another type of small and medium size innovating enterprise that Will be able to modify and adpat the mentioned structural and management foundations that form their major source of advantage facing up innovation to more sophisticated and dinamic competitive and technological environments.
