La teoría del velo

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo analiza cómo actúa la Teoría del velo con la intención de comprobar la hipótesis de que todo arte domina y trasciende la pasión primaria en que está inspirado. La polisemia del velo y su versatilidad metafórica entrañan una relación de miradas en una dialéctica de lo invisible y lo visible, que cifra de forma orgánica la fascinación del ser humano por lo escondido o intuido. Para el presente ensayo, enfocado en la estética y la teoría del arte, vamos a prescindir de la presencia física del velo en las obras de arte con el objetivo de centrar la reflexión estética de forma teórica con un sustrato filosófico con base en lo orgánico.

The following work analyzes how the veil theory works with the intention of verifying the hypothesis that all art dominates and transcends the primary passion in which it is inspired. The polysemy of the veil and its metaphoric versatility entail a relationship of looks in a dialectic of the invisible and the visible, which organically shapes the fascination of the human being for what is hidden or intuited. For the present essay, focused on aesthetics and art theory, we will dispense with the physical presence of the veil in works of art with the aim of focusing aesthetic reflection theoretically with a philosophical substrate based on the organic.
