Artículo The reader of Red Chronicle between Tastes and Images. Daily Extra Case(Universidad Sevilla, 2019-12-31) Pezo Cunalata, Claudia Liliana; Córdova Durán, Edmundo; Medina Andrade, Laura; Medina, JennyThe red chronicle is a genre that is used to name the reports, which, for the most part, present attacks on the life of a human being. The printed media, popularly called “Amarillistas” or “Sensationalists”, have encouraged the growth of this section by the form, background, images and headlines that tell a story. From there, that a group of consumers of this genre has been born and grows - mainly in written media -, specifically the case of the Ecuadorian newspaper Extra- that has a profile according to their sexes, ideologies, ages, tastes, levels of study, occupations and civil status. That target remains faithful and almost loyal to the news that arrives in the newspapers, which are distributed even from dawn so that consumers have that product in their hands and read it. After that, there is a process of internalization and comments on the events between family members or groups. But not only the public or the consumer searches for Extra newspaper, so do the advertisers to show their advertising. This has been modified because the public also evolves. This article is raised and developed in the literature review of other research and is developed under the deductive method, because the object of the general is investigated to the particular, then the synthetic method is applied to qualitatively explain the subject raised.Artículo The Impact of Digital Influences on Teen Identity Building(Universidad Sevilla, 2019-12-31) Nobre, Thalita Lacerda; Abrantes, Luciana Pereira; Silva, Carla CarolinaNowadays, the use of information and communication technologies has generated significant social, economic and cultural changes. It should be noted that the publication of daily events, political and even judicial, contribute to the construction of the social imaginary and its representations: symbols, beliefs, values, ideas and appreciations; which are integrated into the cultural formation according to their location. The greater the impact, the greater the influx of readers of sensationalist newspapers or of the red chronicle will be of interest. The analysis using descriptive and explanatory research methods will be used to determine the elements that influence social representation, and how sensationalist communication is constructed. The newspaper Extra seeks to obtain reading acceptance through the volume of its editions in circulation, which, has a high level of audience, thus managing to enter the minds of consumers and influence public opinion.Artículo Inclusive Application Interface Designe Aimed at Functional Illiterates(Universidad Sevilla, 2019-12-31) Garcia, Marilene Santana dos Santos; Herarth, Helbe Heliamara; Martins, Darlan Rodrigues; Maciel, Ana CláudiacuriIn this article, we highlight aspects of an investigation that seeks to build an inclusive design, which can support the development of an application prototype aimed at improving the writing and reading levels of functional illiterates - from the rudimentary level. This study is the result of the actions carried out in the Study Group “Hybrid Education, methodologies and objects of digital learning in mobility environments”, of the Master in Education and New Technologies - of a Brazilian private institution of higher education. The idea is to elaborate inclusion design assumptions that can direct the creation of an application with functions that cover the profile and condition of functional illiterates, who have lack of reading skills, have low self-esteem to face the challenge of learning, and present operational deficiencies for the use of mobile devices and their applications. The methodology applied in this study is based on the survey of personal narratives of this target audience, which reveals verbal communication needs, which can be planned in interactive ways in the application design. The authors who support this study have worked with gamification concepts, instructional design, cognition, learning mediated by mobile interfaces, among others, such as Concepción (2016), Santana et al. (2012) and Garcia (2016).Artículo Construction of the Social Imaginary from an Advertising Perspective in Sensationalist Media(Universidad Sevilla, 2019-12-31) Córdova Durán, Edmundo Guillermo; Rivera Medina, José; Medina Andrade, Laura Sofía; Carpio Miranda, Rosa RaquelThe purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between the construction of the imaginary and the social representation of the red chronicle: in the idea that sensationalism is one of the characteristics of the written press present in explicit content, generating the greatest visual impact. Departamento de Comunicación Audiovisual, Publicidad y LiteraturaFestivals not only fulfill their traditional role as an institution that allows to present, spread or preserve the culture of a society, but also stand out for their ability to generate wealth in the cities where they are celebrated, for their contribution to the diversification of the tourism product or the improvement of the image of the place (Devesa, Báez, Figueroa and Herrero, 2012). Specifically, film festivals have a much greater importance playing a fundamental, but not recognized, role for the development of the industry and the history of cinema (Vallejo, 2014, p.14). Under this perspective, the main objective of this work is to observe the organization of the SCC Express Short Film Festival, in order to propose a sequenced model for the organization of events as a tool for communication and promotion of the cultural industry. The application of the methodological design designed for the application of the proposed case study allows to establish a 9-phase model for the organization of festivals as a technique of promotion and cultural development at the local level.
