Sexismo en las canciones Disney: Disney como transmisor de valores

Abstract

El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado se centra en analizar el lenguaje planteado en las letras de las canciones Disney y en este como transmisor de valores.A su vez se estudian los distintos géneros, femenino y masculino, y la forma de presentarlos al público infantil. Con esto se pretende dar a conocer la influencia que tienen las canciones en los niños/aspara así tener en cuenta las posibles repercusiones que estas pueden tener a la hora de utilizarlas como recurso educativo.Para la recogida de información se han seleccionado 20 canciones Disney, todas ellas pertenecientes a diferentes películas y en su análisis se recogen aspectos como el tema de la misma, los valores que transmiten, o la aparición de lenguaje sexista entre otros. Los resultados de este análisis permiten identificar qué tipos de películas son adecuadas para los más pequeños, aspecto a tener en cuenta ya que estos absorben los contenidos que se les ofrecen de una forma extraordinaria.Es importante tener en cuenta que Disney es un referente en la vida de los niños/as por lo que es importante conocer, de qué manera el docente puede hacer uso de este recurso y trabajarlo en el aula.

The present End of Degree Project focuses on analyzing the language proposed in the lyrics of Disney songs asa transmitter of values. At the same time, both genders, feminine and masculine, and the way of presenting them to the young audience are studied. This is intended to raise awareness of the influence that songs have on children to take into account the possible effectsthey may have when using them as an educational resource.For the collection of information, 20 Disney songs have been selected, all of them belonging to different films and,in their analysis,they include aspects such as the theme of the film, the values they transmit, or the appearance of sexist language among others. 6The results of this analysis allow us to identify which types of films are suitable for the youngest children, an aspect to be taken into account since they absorb the contents presentedto them in an extraordinary way. It is important to keep in mind that Disney is a reference in children's lives, so it is important to knowin what way the teacher can make use of this resource towork in the classroom.
