In the last decades, we are witnessing a state of poverty of childhood in an atypical way concerning the democratic social model that characterizes our country. Child poverty figures have highly increased since the beginning of the last financial crisis, despite the existence of strategic plans at national levels, assistance measures by organizations and the state and, despite having ratified in 1991, the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child. In this research, in addition to objectively describing the current situation of children in Spain, based on official data from the different entities and state institutions, we have wanted to give voice to the children of Spain. We went through the 52 Spanish provinces to know their dreams (understood as their rights to take care of this work) and, from these, to establish a proposal to improve that can be realized from the school and whose relevance lies in the real participation of children in their immediate surroundings.
