The significance and popularity of tv shows in contemporary society led to the idea from which this work arises. It is currently, one of the most widespread forms of entertainment (and culture), which seems to have surpassed, or at least matched, the scope of a more veteran medium and habitually less rejected as cinema. In many of the tv shows of greater success and reputation of our time, a common pattern is accomplished: characters with antiheroic features are those who usually play the leading role. In this way, some related questions emerged: How did these characters turn to be so popular? What are antiheroes and how are they? Why do we feel attracted by characters that in other fictions could have been considered the villains of the story? To answer these questions, we decided to use the video essay format, a very interesting tool when it comes to presenting ideas in an entertaining, pedagogical and direct way.
