dc.description.abstract | “Fellini-Satyricon” is one of the most particular Fellini’s films. The director tries to recreate the Early Imperial Rome period without a literal translation from the Petronius’ novel. This scope is achieved by means of different ways, two of them highlighted in this work. The first one consists in the, nearly, direct interpretation of the original novel. The second one is based on the reinterpretation of a section from the Metamorphoses of Apuleius, known as the feast of the God of laughter. Freedom and erudition are based not only on the subject’s choice but also on the ways of shooting it. | es |
