En el presente traba jo se expone la investigación que se ha desarrol lado para det ermi nar la influencia que tienen en las propiedades de los mo rteros de ca l el e mple o de aren as de distin ta naturaleza: silícea, caliza y marmolina, en combinación con el empleo de cales aéreas hidratadas en polvo y ca les en pasta con dos edades de enve jeci miento. Se han fabricado distinta s familias de mor teros de cal de do sifi cación 1:3 en pe so, determinándose de acuerdo a normas UNE-EN la consistencia e n esta do fresco, el contenido de carbonato de calcio (ve locida d de carbonatación) , las por os idades abiertas y las r esistencias mecánicas a las e dades de 28 días, 6 mese s, 12 meses, 18 mese s y 24 meses. Los resultados obtenidos indican que las mayores resiste ncias se obt ienen co n el árid o calizo y la ca l en pasta añeja, la menores po rosid ades con el árido silíceo y la mayor velocidad d e carbonatación se produce habitual mente en los mor teros elaborados con cales en pasta y ar en as carbonatadas |
