La poética viquiana y su conexión con el arte participativo contemporáneo

Abstract

En las propuestas creativas del arte participativo contemporáneo se da una labor de coproducción y de colaboración, común a todos cuantos participan, similar al esfuerzo constitutivo de aquellos primeros espectadores que fundaron la civilidad. Sus creaciones son una oportunidad para repensar nuestro devenir histórico en esta época de poshumanidad. La contribución de Vico a ello no puede ser más nítida, ya que averiguar qué es el arte es indagar qué fuimos y qué hemos hecho con nuestra humanitas. En este sentido, la estética del cuerpo que subyace a la poética viquiana, está a la base del arte participativo actual y su teoría de la sensibilidad, al completo, se ha revelado muy útil para entender qué pretenden hacer hoy los artistas con algunas de sus aportaciones y creaciones.

In the creative proposals of participative contemporary art, coproduction and collaboration shared by all of those participating is found, in a similar vein to the constitutive efforts that occurred among those first spectators, which founded civilization. Those creations are an opportunity to think again our historical evolution in this time of post-humanity. Vico’s contribution to this issue could not be more clear, given that the goal is to find out what art itself is, and to inquiry into what we were, and what we have done with our humanitas. In this sense, the aesthetics of the body that is beneath Vichian poetry is at the root of contemporary participative art, and his theory of sensibility, as a whole, has proved to be useful in order to understand what artists pursue today with some of their contributions and creations.
