Abstract | l conocimiento del estado tensional real en una estructura, manejando esta acepción en un sentido amplio, es un objetivo de interés prioritario para el ingeniero que realiza el análisis, diseño, mantenimiento o reparación ... l conocimiento del estado tensional real en una estructura, manejando esta acepción en un sentido amplio, es un objetivo de interés prioritario para el ingeniero que realiza el análisis, diseño, mantenimiento o reparación de la misma. Es correcto afirmar que los Métodos actuales de cálculo (Cálculo Matricial de estructuras de barras y los Métodos de Elementos Finitos y de Elementos de Contorno en estructuras continuas bi o tridimensionales) han alcanzado un nivel de desarrollo tal que el analista de estructuras puede sentir confianza sobre los resultados del modelo realizado. Lo que evidentemente los métodos de cálculo no pueden garantizar es la correspondencia entre la situación modelada y la realidad. Esta correspondencia, a la que posiblemente no se da la importancia que requiere, se puede ver afectada, no ya por las necesarias hipótesis realizadas en el proceso de modernización de la estructura, sino por las vicisitudes propias de la ejecución y uso de la estructura. La medición del estado tensional en la estructura real es la manera de discernir sobre la correspondencia entre la forma de trabajo real de una estructura y la predicha por el modelo. |
