Catálogo de las plantas vasculares de la provincia de Sevilla: I. Pteridophyta

Abstract

This paper is the first of a series which, when completed, will provide a check list of vascular plants in the province of Sevilla. This first communication includes a brief survey of the history of botanical exploration in the province with notes on the itineraries of important collectors. Also 28 species of Pteridophyta are listed (ordered according to Tutin et al., 1964) which include several new records for the province. Ecological notes are provided for all taxa, and their localities are referred to the U.T.M. grid.
