Aplicación de un sistema de información geográfica al análisis del medio físico en el parque natural Los Alcornocales. Aproximación a una cartografía geomorfológica a partir de un modelo digital de elevaciones

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se ha realizado un análisis morfológico del medio físico del Parque Natural Los Alcornocales. Para ello se ha utilizado como fuente de información básica un modelo digital de elevaciones, a partir del cual se han estudiado distintas características topográficas, como la pendiente, el relieve local y la curvatura del terreno. El análisis integrado de estos parámetros mediante SIG ha permitido la clasificación morfológica automática del terreno.

A morphological analysis of the physical way of the Natural Park Los Alcornocales has been carried out in this paper. With this goal, a digital elevation model has been used as the main source of basic information, so that different topographic characteristics have been studied, as the slope, the local relief and the curvature of the surface.
