Estudio comparado de la utillización que hace el profesorado novel de la plataforma en su formación y en su práctica docente

Abstract

Desde el curso 2004/05, un grupo de profesoras del departamento de Didáctica y Organización Educativa de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de Sevilla, estamos trabajando con diferentes recursos informáticos a través de la red para la organización de los contenidos curriculares que desarrollamos en las asignaturas que impartimos en las áreas de Organización del Centro y Educación Especial. Para ello, venimos utilizando la plataforma Webct en nuestra práctica docente, con la finalidad de continuar profundizando en la idea de introducir el Material Multimedia en nuestro quehacer docente. En la presente comunicación, damos a conocer cómo percibe un grupo de estudiantes las relaciones que existen, actualmente, entre la escuela y la utilización de la plataforma. Con la finalidad de indagar en las distintas relaciones que de ellos puedan derivarse. Para ello, presentamos el conocimiento y manejo de la plataforma de nuestros estudiantes con los cursos que desarrollamos en nuestras asignaturas a través de la plataforma Webct y, la relación y uso que establece dicho alumnado con las plataformas cuando ejercen en sus centros docentes. Para establecer dicha comparativa hemos tenido la oportunidad de contar con una muestra de alumnos que cursan Psicopedagogía y actualmente trabajan como profesores en centros de educación Infantil y Primaria (CEIP); por tanto, nos pueden ofrecer información desde esa doble perspectiva que nos proponemos comparar: Por un lado, conocemos la percepción que tiene un grupo de estudiantes acerca de la utilización que se viene haciendo de la plataforma Webct en su proceso de formación, durante el desarrollo de nuestras asignaturas a lo largo del curso académico y, por otro, la percepción que tienen de la utilización que se viene haciendo de la plataforma como docentes, pues al estar ejerciendo como docentes, utilizan en sus centros educativos Linux, Portal Guadalinex, Vía Educativa, etc. Consideramos que la utilización de la plataforma no sólo aporta nuevas formas de enseñar y aprender sino que potencia la colaboración, la participación y el interés que son la base para el desarrollo de una enseñanza de calidad.

From course 2004/05, a group of professors of the department of Didactics and Educative Organization of the Faculty of Sciences of the Education of Seville, we are working with different computer resources on the network for the organization of curricula contents that we developed in the subjects that we lecture in the areas of Organization of the Center and Special Education. To do this, we have been using the Webct platform in our teaching practice, in order to continue developing the idea of introducing the Multimedia Material in our educational task. To establish such a comparative we have had the opportunity to have a sample of students who attend Psychopedagogy and currently they work as teachers in infant and primary school (CEIP); therefore, can provide us information from the dual perspective we compare: On the one hand, we know the perception of a group of students of the use that has been doing of the Webct platform in their process of formation, during the development of our subjects the throughout the academic course, and on the other, the perception that they have of the use that comes doing of the platform like educational, because when being exerting like educational, they use in their schools Portal Guadalinex, Via Educativa, etc. We believe that the use of the platform not only brings new ways of teaching and learning but promote collaboration, participation and the interest which are the basis for the development of a quality education.
