Los procedimientos serigráficos de José Luis Pajuelo

Abstract

Nuestra Tesis Doctoral revela el estudio analítico y descriptivo sobre la obra editada en serigrafía del pintor sevillano, José Luis Pajuelo (Sevilla 1940), partiendo desde dos puntos iniciales para el proceso de investigación: En primer lugar haciendo una valoración básica del proceso evolutivo de la serigrafía en general, desde sus comienzos hasta la época actual, con un balance de la evolución técnica y material de dicha práctica serigráfica; contemplamos su evolución desde talleres artesanales e industriales hasta su comparación con la aplicación de este procedimiento por otros artistas que también lo han utilizado. Y en segundo lugar, haciendo un estudio de la evolución artística, de José Luis Pajuelo en la práctica de la serigrafía, considerando su trayectoria biográfica y profesional, su protagonismo como uno de los pocos artistas que han utilizado la serigrafía en Sevilla, en los últimos treinta años del pasado siglo, y el estudio, reproducción investigación y catalogación de su obra, que abarca una producción próxima a las 100 obras seriadas, desde el año 1969 que comienza realizando sus primeras pruebas y ediciones en el medio serigráfico, hasta la última intervención fechada en el año 2004, cuando utiliza la serigrafía de forma puntual, como una herramienta más dentro del proceso de producción creativa de una obra considerada como única. Lo inigualable de su concepción de la serigrafía que va más allá de los planteamientos técnicos e industriales, es un ejemplo de la utilización plástica y creativa de este medio.

Our doctoral thesis reveals the analytical study and descriptive envelope of the work published in serigraphy from the sevillian artist, José Luis Pajuelo (1940), beginning from two starting points to the head of research: first of all , doing a basic valoration of the evolutionary process in general, from its beginnings to the present day, with a balance of technical evolution and material of such serigraphical practice, we look at its evolution from artisan workshops and industrial to its comparison with the application of this procedure by other artists who also have use it. And secondly, doing a study of the artistic evolution of José Luis Pajuelo in the serigraphical practise, considering his biographical and professional way, his prominence as one of the few artists who have used the serigraphy in Seville in the recent thirty years of the last century and the study, reproduction, research and cataloguing of this work, wich includes a production next to a hundred serial works, from the year 1969 it begins performing their first tests and editions in serigraphy to the last intervention dated in 2004. When he uses the serigraphy in a timely manner, as a tool more within the creative production of a work process regarded as unique. The unique of his conception of the serigraphy goes beyond the technical and industrial approaches, is an example of the plastic and creative use of this technique.
