Epistemología en las junturas del hipertexto

Abstract

Con la tecnología digital se ha vuelto más factible la liberación del texto del contenedor físico que es el libro, con su imagen forzada de autónomo, de hermético, con un sentido ya fijado. El lenguaje hipertextual, que relaciona (sin el control total del autor) textos diversos a través de sus hipervínculos, permite crear explosiones semánticas imprevistas, inéditas, con las combinaciones fortuitas que, eventualmente, pueden dar lugar a imágenes originales con las que renovar el lenguaje. Como la metáfora y la metonimia (a un tiempo estallido y exposición del significado), tiene una función epistemológica: como apertura y vínculo, como acceso a lo simbólico.
