Análisis temporal de la segregación ocupacional por género en España y sus comunidades autónomas

Abstract

En este trabajo se va a realizar una investigación que tratará de analizar una de las manifestaciones de la brecha de género que ocurren en el mercado laboral, en concreto, de la segregación ocupacional. Para ello, en primer lugar se tratará de encuadrar y entender este concepto, repasando las diferentes y principales teorías que dan explicación a esta problemática mediante una revisión del marco teórico que abarcará todo el periodo histórico en el que se pueda ver envuelto este concepto. Pues el verdadero interés es conocer su origen, evolución, vertientes y situación actual. A ello le seguirá una revisión de la literatura de otros autores que puedan enriquecer el planteamiento del problema. Para ello se hará una recopilación de la teoría y bibliografía existente sobre la cuestión de género. Esta contextualización tiene el objetivo de darnos paso a la aplicación empírica, con la finalidad de utilizar los datos de la EPA sobre los activos, ocupados y parados, para estudiar esta segregación a través de las clasificaciones CNAE-09 Y CNO-11 (por ocupaciones y actividades) distinguiendo entre las Comunidades Autónomas del territorio español, para los años 2011, 2016 y 2021. Todo esto se realizará desde un enfoque metodológico cuantitativo.

In this paper we are going to analyse one of the manifestations of the gender gap that occurs in the labour market, specifically, occupational segregation. Firstly, we will try to frame and understand the concept, revising the main theories that explain the problem by reviewing the theoretical framework that will cover the historical period in which this concept may be involved. The real interest is to know its origin, evolution, aspects, and current situation. This will be followed by a review of the literature of other authors who can enrich the approach to the problem. To this end, a compilation of the existing theory and bibliography on the question of gender gap will be made. The purpose of this contextualisation is to give way to the empirical application, with the aim of using the EPA data on the active, employed, and unemployed, to study this segregation through the CNAE-09 and CNO-11 classifications (by occupations and activities) distinguishing between the Autonomous Regions of Spain, for the years 2011, 2016 and 2021. All this will be carried out from a quantitative methodological approach.
