Ferrocarril Sevilla-Cádiz. Barrera física de la ciudad de Dos Hermanas

Abstract

Con este trabajo de investigación se pretende llegar a proponer actuaciones que consigan hacer sentir al ferrocarril como un elemento urbano más de la ciudad, llegando a superar ese carácter connatural de elemento de difícil integración en la vida urbana y el paisaje que lo rodea, y revalorizar la utilidad de dicha infraestructura de tal forma que supere el concepto de ser poco urbano y por ello tender a la solución de ocultarlo a la vista a través del soterramiento o desvío de su trazado por el exterior de la ciudad. Se tomará el concepto de ferrocarril como infraestructura de transporte que permite la comunicación de las poblaciones entre sí, en particular ciudades, es decir un ferrocarril interurbano que forma parte en nuestro caso de una red de escala regional, pero nos centraremos en una escala local, a nivel de medio urbano. Indicar que las fricciones originadas por la interacción de medio urbano y ferrocarril afectan tanto al funcionamiento urbano como al ferroviario. El efecto barrera y fronterizo que provoca la degradación del entorno y la falta de integración urbanística de los espacios ferroviarios son los principales problemas urbanos originados principalmente por el inadecuado desenfoque del planeamiento urbanístico, pero también hay problemas ferroviarios por lo encorsetado que se queda el trazado dentro del núcleo urbano con pocas o nulas opciones a variaciones, modificaciones o cambios. En el presente documento se estudiará de forma general la evolución a lo largo de la historia de la convivencia entre el ferrocarril y el medio urbano, y a posteriori, nos centraremos en el caso particular de la ciudad de Dos Hermanas con el paso de la línea de ferrocarril Alcázar de San Juan-Cádiz, tramo Sevilla-Cádiz.

The barrier and border effect that causes the degradation of the environment and the lack of urban integration of railway spaces are the main urban problems caused mainly by the inadequate blurring of urban planning, However, there are also railway problems due to the fact that the route remains confined within the urban nucleus with few or no options for variations, modifications or changes. This document will look in general at developments in the history of coexistence between the railway and the urban environment, and subsequently, we will focus on the particular case of the city of Dos Hermanas with the passage of the railway line Alcazar of San Juan-Cádiz, section Sevilla-Cádiz.
