For several years the manufacture of mobile robots such as “Automated Guided Vehicles” (AGVs) have evolved and are currently present in almost any industrial field. This technology that began in the US in the mid-1950s has even reached the classrooms of different universities as a way to introduce all students in an interactive way to the world of programming. This project proposes the design and manufacture of a mobile robotic platform that can be easily expandable, which present the essential peripherals for its proper functioning. In this way, the main objective of the work is the reuse of the robot design so that it is a subject of study for all interested parties who are starting in the programming of autonomous vehicles. That is why the DSP that will be used during the project will be the Texas Instruments TMS320F28335, since this microprocessor is the one used in some of the subjects of the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Technologies and its programming and use is familiar. to all those students who study this degree. This robot will also incorporate as many sensors as actuators with different communication interfaces, which is why a design compatible with this fact has been proposed, generating a base on which to work and to be able to carry out subsequent work. |
