Actitudes y creencias de los jóvenes universitarios barceloneses hacia la variedad andaluza. Datos del Proyecto PRECAVES XXI

Abstract

En este artículo se presentan los resultados de las primeras investigaciones sobre creencias y actitudes de estudiantes universitarios de Barcelona hacia la variedad andaluza, siguiendo la metodología diseñada y empleada por el proyecto de investigación PRECAVES XXI. Los sujetos observados son estudiantes de la Facultad de Filología y Comunicación de la Universidad de Barcelona, divididos en dos grupos: por un lado, estudiantes de primer curso que no disponen de conocimientos específicos sobre las variedades del español; por otro lado, alumnos que han cursado asignaturas como Historia de la lengua española, Español de América o Sociolingüística del español y que, en consecuencia, cuentan con conocimientos especializados sobre la materia objeto de estudio. Los datos obtenidos nos permitirán saber, por una parte, qué capacidad de identificación de la variedad andaluza poseen los jóvenes universitarios barceloneses; por otra, qué actitud despierta entre ellos esta variedad.

This article presents the results of the first research on beliefs and attitudes of university students in Barcelona towards the Andalusian variety, following the methodology designed and employed by the PRECAVES XXI project. The subjects observed are students from the Faculty of Philology and Communication at the University of Barcelona, divided into two groups: on the one hand, first-year students who do not have specific knowledge of the varieties of Spanish; on the other, students who have taken subjects such as Spanish Language History, Spanish of America or Spanish Sociolinguistics and who, consequently, have acquired knowledge about the Spanish varieties. The data obtained will allow us to know to what extent young Barcelona university students identify the Andalusian variety and what attitude they have towards it.
