For example, these mechanisms may enable T cell manipulation interventions to treat and prevent autoimmune disease by rewiring T cells towards an anti-inflammatory phenotype. Indeed, it has been recently reported that metabolic sensing in immune cells is coupled to signal transduction pathways that control cell fate. |
