La identidad fundada en la alteridad. Hacia la posibilidad de una narración propia

Abstract

La presente investigación versa sobre la identidad y su configuración. A sabiendas de lo amplio de la cuestión, centraremos la atención en la identidad personal, desarrollando el mismo concepto a lo largo del texto. Atravesando históricamente algunas de las distintas formas de presentar al sujeto de la identidad, trataremos de sentar las bases para mostrar cómo la identidad se funda en la alteridad, recurriendo para ello al cine y a la crítica literaria. En primer lugar, veremos una posibilidad de pensar la identidad desde la fenomenología hermenéutica de Heidegger, lo cual llevará a preguntarnos acerca de la propiedad y su relación con nuestro tema. La postura consistirá en cuestionar la propiedad misma partiendo de la inexistencia de un fundamento último en la identidad. En conexión con estas preguntas sobre Heidegger, concluiremos que la falta de identidad, que emana de la aperturidad del Dasein, es lo que motiva la búsqueda de la identidad personal. Para sostener una determinada identidad, el Dasein toma prestada de la alteridad una manera de sostenerse. Acerca de la manera de apropiarnos de dicha identidad, se traerán a colación los fenómenos de la imitación, el reconocimiento y la identificación. Además, exploraremos la narración desde Paul Ricouer, entendiendo a ésta como otro modo desplegar aquello que se sedimenta a causa del haber-sido. La posición que sostendremos consistiría en proponer que la narración es una manera de sostenerse frente a la nihilidad de fundamento. De tal manera, la identidad narrativa podría entenderse como aquella que va haciéndose en el relato, constituyéndose como el desplegar de lo sedimentado.

The current research deal with the matter of identity and its configuration. Knowing the breadth of the issue, we will take care off the personal identity, developing that concept along the text. Going historically , through some of the different ways of introducing the subject of the identity, we will try to lay the groundwork of how is the identity based on the otherness, appealing to films and literary criticism. First of all, we will address the possibility of thinking the identity from the Heidegger’s hermeneutical phenomenology, which will bring us to ask about property and its relationship with our theme. The position will consist in wondering about the property itself on the basis of the absence of a final ground in the identity. Related with the previous questions about Heidegger, we will come to the conclusion that there is a lack of identity, which comes from the openness of the Dasein, that moves to look for personal identity. In order to hold a particular identity, the Dasein borrows from the alterity a way of being sustainable. About the different forms of borrowing personal identity, the phenomenons of imitating, recognizing, and identification will be brought up. Moreover, we will study the account in the texts of Paul Ricouer, knowing that narration as a manner of displaying what has turned sedimented due to the past. The position that we will hold consists in suggesting the narration as a way of being sustainable, dealing with the lack of ground. Thus, the narrative identity could be understood as that one is being made along the account, constituting as a display of the sedimented past.
