(
y
′ = A(t)y + B(t)u, t ∈ [0, T],
y(0) = y0,
(1)
con T > 0, A ∈ C
0
([0, T];L(R
n
)) y B ∈ C
0
([0, T];L(R
m; R
n
)), donde y0 ∈ R
n
Posteriormente
introduciremos cuatro conceptos de controlabilidad: controlabilidad exacta, controlabilidad
exacta a trayectorias, controlabilidad nula y controlabilidad aproximada.
′ = A(t)y, t ∈ [0, T].
dc.description.abstract | In this work we are going to consider a linear ordinary differential system of the form:
(
y
′ = A(t)y + B(t)u, t ∈ [0, T],
y(0) = y0,
(2)
with T > 0, A ∈ C
0
([0, T];L(R
n
)), B ∈ C
0
([0, T];L(R
m; R
n
)) and y0 ∈ R
n
is given. The
aim of this work is to study whether there exists a function u ∈ L
2
(0, T; R
m), known as
control function, such that the solution y : [0, T] → R
n of (2) reaches a certain state
yd ∈ R
n at time T > 0. This is what is known as controllabillity problem.
To this end, we will begin by seeing that this system is well posed. Then we will
introduce four concepts of controllabillity; exact controllabillity, exact controllabillity to
trajectories, null controllabillity and approximate controllabillity. We will prove that for
system (2) these concepts are equivalent. We will introduce the concept of the controllability
gramian, which will provide a first necessary and sufficient condition of controllability for
system (2). We will see that there are infinite controls that lead us to the desired state and
we will study the one that has the minimum norm.
The controllability condition provided by the controllability gramian involves the computation of a fundamental matrix for system y
′ = A(t)y, t ∈ [0, T]. This is why we are looking
for another necessary and sufficient condition purely algebraic. If the system is autonomous,
it will be the so-called Kalman Rank Condition. In addition, thanks to the Brunovsky canonical form we will be able to find an equivalent way to express our system in which the
computations will be easier. We will also study the so-called Hilbert Uniqueness Method
which allows us to characterize the set of reachable states for system (2) when y0 = 0.
We will analyze how the control cost is affected when we decrease the time T in which
we want to reach the target. Next, as an example, we will see some applications of the
Kalman Range Condition to several simple physical systems such as a harmonic oscillator
or a RLC circuit, which will give us a perspective of the applicability of these problems to
other fields of science and engineering.
Finally, we will introduce some results for nonlinear systems. | es |
