La psicopedagogía al servicio de la Historia en Rafael Sánchez Ferlosio

Abstract

La Historia sólo toma sentido dentro del historicismo. O, dicho de otro modo, cualquier intento de dar sentido a la Historia ha de caer en las redes del historicismo. Se trata de una telaraña en la que se dejan enredar con entusiasmo las gentes en busca del ideal a que entregan sus vidas. Funciona como un ideal regulativo que distorsiona los acontecimientos pasados poniéndolos al servicio de la consecución de un plan que se concretará en el modelo final que le da razón de ser a todo el proceso. Sánchez Ferlosio se adentra en los mecanismos psicológicos y pedagógicos con los que el sistema político va obnubilando la capacidad crítica de las gentes hasta que, identificándose con el Todo histórico que les permite huir del mosaico descolocado de la realidad humana, sacrifican generosamente sus vocaciones y motivos de recreo.

History only makes sense within historicism. Or, in other words, any attempt to make sense of history must fall into the nets of historicism. It is a spider's web in which people allow themselves to be entangled with enthusiasm in search of the ideal to which they devote their lives. It functions as a regulative ideal that distorts past events, placing them at the service of the attainment of a plan that will take shape in the final model that gives the whole process its raison d'être. Sánchez Ferlosio delves into the psychological and pedagogical mechanisms with which the political system blurs people's critical capacity until, identifying themselves with the historical Everything that allows them to flee from the dislocated mosaic of human reality, they generously sacrifice their vocations and motives for recreation.
