Una biblioteca diferente: la asamblea literaria para alcanzar la interculturalidad en educación primaria

Abstract

En las aulas encontramos alumnos y alumnas muy diferentes entre sí. Uno de los factores que acentúan estas diferencias es la diversidad cultural entre grupos de personas. Esta diversidad está actualmente en aumento debido al creciente flujo migratorio que está llegando a España. Esta y otras manifestaciones de la diversidad siempre han sido la asignatura pendiente por trabajar en las aulas de Educación Primaria. Es muy común escuchar a profesores y profesoras de todo el país comentar la dificultad que encuentran a la hora de trabajar ciertos temas como este en la escuela por la falta de tiempo o espacio en el currículum. Con este objetivo se propone, en este Trabajo de Fin de Grado, la creación de un recurso con el que se pretende utilizar la lectura de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil como instrumento de enseñanza. Este recurso organizativo, titulado la asamblea literaria, consiste en la creación de un espacio en el que el alumnado pueda conocer y leer obras diversas con las que puedan aprender conocimientos nuevos y en las que puedan verse reflejados, desarrollando así un gusto y hábito por la lectura.

In the classrooms we often find students very different from each other. One of the factors that accentuate these differences is the cultural diversity between groups of people. This diversity is currently increasing due to the growing migratory flow that is arriving in Spain. This and other manifestations of diversity have always been the pending subject to work on in Primary Education classrooms. It is very common to hear teachers from all over the country comment on the difficulty they find when working on certain topics like this at school due to the lack of time or space in the curriculum. With this objective, the creation of a resource with which it is intended to use the reading of Children's and Youth Literature as a teaching tool is proposed in this Final Degree Project. This organizational resource, entitled the literary assembly, consists of the creation of a space in which students can learn about and read various works with which they can learn new knowledge and in which they can see themselves reflected, thus developing a taste and habit for reading.
