cabeceo y alabeo. | es |
dc.description.abstract | This Final Degree Project aims to recover the historical aeronautical heritage, with the main objective of
achieving a virtual recreation with Catia V5 software of the two-seater two-seater bomber of the First World
War, the De Havilland DH-4, also preserving the transcendental documentation of the aircraft.
To facilitate the organisation, first of all, it has been decided to split the modelling of the aircraft, so that, using
the Part Design and Generative Shape Design modules, the fuselage is designed first, followed by the wings
and stabilisers, and finally the propeller and landing gear.
With all these parts, using the assembly module, Assembly Design, all of them are joined together, achieving
the expected final result by applying various restrictions between all these elements.
Finally, to make this virtual recreation of the De Havilland DH-4 more realistic, a series of simulations have
been carried out with the DMU Kinematics module, specifically in various parts of the aircraft, such as the
propeller, ailerons, depth rudder and rudder. In addition, taking advantage of the usefulness of this Catia
module, we have chosen to simulate two typical aircraft manoeuvres, such as pitch and roll. | es |
