Estudio contrastivo semántico-pragmático y gramatical de las palabras invariables del español y del árabe

Abstract

Las palabras invariables ocupan una parte muy importante en todas las lenguas naturales, fundamentalmente por las dificultades que existen para tener una competencia óptima. Se trata de estudiar estos elementos, en concreto las preposiciones, conjunciones y adverbios, en los diccionarios monolingües y bilingües españoles y árabes desde el punto de vista semántico pragmático y gramatical. Para completar el estudio se han contrastado los diferentes usos en los corpus seleccionados, CORPES XXI, ICA y Corán Sagrado. Todo ello nos ha permitido concluir que existen diferencias relevantes en el tratamiento de estas partículas en los repertorios lexicográficos utilizados en esta investigación. Del mismo modo, hemos podido observar no pocos valores ausentes en los señalados diccionarios, por lo que nuestro trabajo puede servir de fuente lexicográfica para solventar las carencias detectadas.

Invariable words constitute a major component in all natural languages, fundamentally due to their crucial role in the development of an optimal competence. The aim of this thesis is to study how these elements, specifically prepositions, conjunctions and adverbs, are treated in Spanish and Arabic monolingual and bilingual dictionaries from the point of view of grammar, semantics and pragmatics. The study also includes an analysis of their different uses in three corpora: CORPES XXI, ICA and the Holy Quran. We have concluded that there are significant differences in the treatment of these particles in the lexicographical repertoires reviewed in this research. Furthermore, we have also observed the absence of quite a few lexical uses in the aforementioned dictionaries, which makes this thesis a useful lexicographical source to solve such deficiencies.
