dc.description.abstract	People with chronic and severe mental diseases suffer from severe problems in their daily functioning and other issues that affect their quality of life. Many resources have been dedicated to help them address these problems. In the Autonomous Community of Madrid, there are services for people with chronic and severe mental diseases. In this study, we assess the quality of life and the functioning of 970 users of different social services of this network. The relationship among the instruments and the role of gender in terms of a person’s quality of life and functioning are presented.	es
