realizado. | es |
dc.description.abstract | This work has been divided into 4 chapters. The first chapter entitled descriptive memory and will comment on
the most important aspects of a solar thermal installation. This will explain the configuration of the systems,
distinguishing between prefabricated solar systems and custom solar systems. In addition, it will differentiate
the three different sizes into which the facilities are divided and will define the systems and circuits that make
up these. In this section we will try to define the classification criteria for small, medium and large facilities,
finally, to finish the configuration section, we will comment on the configurations of the facilities in multidwelling buildings. In the specification we will talk about the components, what the working temperature will
be and their compatibility with the working fluids. Next, the function of a flat solar collector will be briefly
explained and its parts will be described, as well as the different types of flat solar collectors that exist. Another
point to deal with in the descriptive memory will be the working conditions, these being the ones necessary to
get the most performance and avoid problems in our installation, a subsection will also be added in which a
series of indications is provided when incorporating an installation to a building, then the collection,
accumulation and exchange systems will be described, which are the three systems that make up the hydraulic
and thermal part of the installation. At the end of this chapter, some guidelines to follow will be explained to
carry out a proper assembly, start-up, maintenance and use of the installation.
The second chapter, entitled calculation methods, will carry out a small study of simulation tools such as the
TRNSYS method, the f-CHART method, ACSOL and CHEQ4. Paying more attention to the latter. The
TRNSYS tool is a simulation program for energy systems in dynamic regime. It was designed with the intention
of solving complex systems where each of the components is described by simpler subroutines, called TYPEs.
The f-CHART method is a simplified method, based on a representative day of each month. It should be noted
that the f-Chart method is recognized as one of the best simplified methods to quantify the solar contribution on
an annual basis of a solar energy installation for the production of domestic hot water. The ACSOL method is a
simulation program that uses TRNSYS as a calculation engine. This method is a software that calculates the
parameters of low-temperature solar thermal systems, helping the user not to have to program or verify models.
The CHEQ4 method uses software that IDAE offers free of charge to the solar thermal energy sector. It is
software developed in an environment that is pleasant for the user, easy to use and with a clear and organized
structure. As mentioned above, each CHEQ4 window will be explained in detail, including images of the same
program windows, and the possible alternatives that should be applied when the program shows a problem will
be discussed, whether it is caused by an error in the data entry or due to the lack of convergences of these. To
finish the chapter, the advantages of the CHEQ4 method over the other methods will be shown.
The third chapter is titled Case Analysis. This chapter will begin by describing the structure and operation of the
DHW production systems that appear in CHEQ4. It should be noted that all of the systems included in CHEQ4
will be studied except for the installation with exchanger and covered swimming pool within the single
consumption systems. The chapter will continue defining the base case, this case is one that has been specifically
chosen to apply to each system. The base case is very important since in this case a series of parameters is
established and it will be the variation of these parameters that will define the other 360 cases that are going to
be analyzed. To finish this chapter, the other different defined cases will be studied, considering in each one of
the seven systems the variation of parameters such as the location, the number of collectors, length of the primary
circuit, distribution, substations and discharge temperature.
Finally, the fourth chapter will be a summary of the work and the conclusions obtained about the study carried
out. | es |
