Sobre la negatividad de la estética en general y de la belleza kantiana en particular

Abstract

Este artículo pretende definir la negatividad de la belleza kantiana con el fin de ver cómo en ella se encuentra contenido un principio disciplinar de la estética. En primer lugar, ofreceremos una introducción histórica de la estética para indicar el presupuesto básico del que partimos, a saber, que la estética se constituye históricamente a partir de cierta doctrina cristiana platonizada del amor (§1). Luego daremos cuenta de algunos aspectos de la idea de un sistema filosófico con el fin de resaltar la importancia que tiene la belleza en el conjunto de la filosofía kantiana (§2). Después pasaremos al capítulo central del artículo, en el que expondremos, a partir de de la “Analítica de lo Bello”, que el objeto estético se constituye a partir de su pérdida (§3). Para justificar cómo esta “pérdida estética del objeto” pertenece a la constitución disciplinar de la estética haremos un breve repaso de la estética postkantiana (§4). Por ultimo daremos una conclusión en la que se resumen los argumentos y señalamos los problemas que quedan por resolver.

This article aims to define the negativity of the Kantian beauty in order to see how it contains a disciplinary principle of aesthetics. First, we give a historical introduction to aesthetics to indicate the basic assumption from which we start, namely, that aesthetics is historically constituted from a platonized Christian doctrine of love (§1). Then we will give an account of some aspects of the idea of a philosophical system in order to underline the importance of beauty in the whole of the Kantian philosophy (§2). Then we move on to the central chapter of the article, in which we justify, on the basis of an exposition of the “Analytic of the Beautiful”, that the aesthetic object is constituted from its loss (§3). In order to justify how this loss of the aesthetic object belongs to the disciplinary constitution of aesthetics, we will briefly review the post-Kantian aesthetics (§4). At the end we make a review of our main arguments and also we point out the problems which remain unresolved.
