La transición española en Educación Primaria

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta un análisis del tratamiento que se le da al estudio de la Transición Española en sexto curso de Educación Primaria. Para ello, se ha examinado la historiografía más reciente, centrándonos en la participación de la sociedad como elemento importante en el proceso y comprobando en qué medida están recogidos en los libros de texto y en el currículo propuesto por la Junta de Andalucía. A continuación, hemos planteado una propuesta de mejora con la intención de introducir como elemento importante la participación de la sociedad. Con ello intentaremos conseguir que el alumno entienda que la Historia no solo está escrita por personajes célebres, sino que cualquier ciudadano y, por tanto, ellos mismos, son actores de ella. De esta forma, conseguiremos aumentar el interés por su estudio, desarrollando una serie de sesiones de trabajo donde marcamos unos contenidos, objetivos y criterios de evaluación

This paper consists on an analysis on the treatment given to the study of the Spanish Transition in the sixth year of Primary Education. We have examined the most recent historiography, focusing on the society’s participation as an important element in the process and we have verified to what extent they are included in textbooks and in the curriculum proposed by the Andalusian Government. After doing so, we have suggested a proposal of improvement with the intention of introducing the active role of society, trying to make the student understand that History is not only written by acclaimed people, but that any citizen and, therefore, the students themselves, have active roles in the making of History. In this way, we will be able to increase the students’ interest in their study. To illustrate this, we have developed a series of work sessions where we set some content, objectives and evaluation criteria.
