¿Se puede ser rentable y solidario?

Abstract

Los Centros Especiales de Empleo (CEE) posibilitan un trabajo a las personas con discapacidad. Existen dos modalidades de CEE con un fin muy distinto. Por un lado, existen CEE cuyo objetivo es la búsqueda de un beneficio, como cualquier otra empresa mercantil, y por otro, CEE cuyo fin es la provisión de empleo a aquellos que tiene mucho más difícil el acceso al mercado de trabajo. Este estudio, tras estudiar las cuentas anuales de los CEE que tienen su sede social en la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia (CARM), analiza la rentabilidad obtenida por estos CEE, para determinar si existen o no diferencias en función al objetivo perseguido. Para ello se ha realizado una revisión de los antecedentes existentes al respecto y posteriormente, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio empírico analizando los datos económicos de los CEE de la CARM, pudiendo concluir que esta disparidad de objetivos no ha supuesto una diferencia en la rentabilidad obtenida por estas entidades.
